Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa on the shores of England’s longest lake right in the heart of the World Heritage Lake District providing the perfect destination to explore the National Park as well as plenty to do within the resort.
There are a wide range of facilities including two very distinct dining experiences. The W – Windermere Restaurant with a warm bright jazzy vibe with modern artwork and newly refurbished interior with traditional classic British and continental menus whilst Blue Smoke on the Bay has a more intimate feel and features a centrepiece three metre wood fired grill. Together with the Langdale Lounge & Bar and Norman’s Juice Bar, the resort food and drink options are exceptional.
The Spa offers a wide range of treatments and a fabulous Thermal Journey. The outdoor heated pool, sauna, and hot tubs all enjoy views over the lake to the magnificent Langdale Pike range. Together with the watersports centre and marina, private jetty and lawns on shores of the lake the resort is an ideal base to discover the beauty and attractions of the world-famous lake district.
The Wild Boar Inn, Grill and Smokehouse is set in the rolling countryside of the picturesque Gilpin Valley in the heart of the Lake District National Park. A Lakeland traditional Inn with wonderful character to make any visit to the English Lake District World Heritage stay memorable.
