Lord and Lady Inglewood's ancient family home is a glorious mixture of architectural and decorative styles, quite unlike any other house in the world. Originally built as a stronghold against the Scots, their family has lived at Hutton for over 400 years. The Walled Garden, full of flowers and colour, is the highlight of the extensive and varied grounds that give Hutton its magnificent setting.

We have lots to offer groups

We welcome Groups every day except Saturday and we can arrange tours of the House with our knowledgeable guides, garden tours with our Head Gardener, specialist talks and walks through the estate. Our Cloisters tearoom is available for delicious light lunches and homemade cakes and scones by both day and evening groups.
